Hi everyone! Hopefully you are all enjoying the summer sunshine and the thunderstorms too (they smell good!), and of course we hope the heat makes you want to get on your strappy sandals or flip flops and groove out – here is what's coming up this month:

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO TANGO! If you didn't register for the Argentine Tango workshop, just talk to Edgar and we will place in the class…. This is a couples class, but you don't need to be a couple – we have a list of people wanting to take the class and we’ll find you a partner. This course is 8 weeks long. 8:00 pm

START PRACTICING FOR YOUR NEXT PERFORMANCE – SHOWCASE on Thursday SEPTEMBER 9th – What dance are you dying to try out on an audience of supportive, enthusiastic peers? Talk to your teacher now and get ready to get on the floor!

Bboy Drops

Supernaturalz Crew

 

As a dancer, Drops is known for his musicality and fast powerful flow. He is a member of Supernaturalz Crew, Canada’s best Bboy crew, currently ranked one of the top crews in the world. Drops and Supernaturalz represented Canada at the prestigious R-16 2009 International Invitational Bboy Championship in Incheon Korea. They were heralded for their complicated style and creativity. Drops is also the Artistic Director for Break It Down, a not-for-profit dedicated to inspiring youth through the art of Bboying, Dance Director for the Manifesto Hip Hop Festival and Marketing Director for Back to the Underground Bboy Events and Promotions. He is heavily dedicated to spreading the knowledge of the culture to the next generation of dancers and works towards it each day through his community work, dancing and teaching.
