Q. Do I need I partner to dance?
A. No you don't need a partner to take dance lessons.
Q. How good of a dancer will I be when I finish a dance course at your school?
A. Well, you will be as good as you want to be! Every course in our school is guaranteed to deliver a successful outcome, and every person has their own pace of achievement. However much energy and commitment you make to a program will determine how quickly you learn, so if you want it, you can have it! Don't wait, come experience it yourself.
Q. Where do I go dancing?
A. In Franco Dance Studios we take you to the action, yes my friends, we invite you to join us on our “outings” which usually consist of going to the best places, balls, and parties for Ballroom dancing around the city. Also we host some of the best parties in town with live music, great performances and good vibes in our studio.
Q. What is a group lesson?
A. In the lesson you will be sharing the instructor with other people in the dance floor. We prefer not to exceed the 30 people, and we do not run the classes without the minimum number of 6 people.
Q. What is a private lesson?
A. This particular type of lesson is the most preferred by many people because in one-on-one instruction, you can learn in one private lesson the same amount of knowledge and technique that you will get from 8 group classes. In a private lesson the teacher is focused completely on you, and can tailor a program based on your needs and skills.
Q. Do I need to have experience to be part of your school?
A. No experience, only desire.
Q. What is a membership card?
A. The Membership Card allows you to enter to any class that will be taken place at he Franco Dance Studio. Most o the classes are progressive classes, so in that way you will always be learning something good from every class you take.
Q. How many classes can I take a week with the Membership Card?

Q. What do I need to become a teacher?
A. A lot of dedication and the desire to achieve are the keys become the best of yourself, so in dancing the dance instructors don’t just teach for a living, they life styles are molded around the dance scene.
Q. What is the Ballroom Dance Teachers Course?
A. This is the course that most people take in order to become the best dancers that they can be. The process is pretty simple and of course a lot of fun, but requires COMMITMENT. Many of the dancers who come out of this program decide to become professional dancers, dance teachers, or judges, and the course can help in getting professional qualifications and titles, as well as experience. Yes, you really can dance for a living!
Q. Do you have a Ballroom Dance Teachers Course?
A. Yes we do, it starts this summer (2009), so register now before the spots get all taken!
Q. How long does it take to become a teacher?
A. It all depends on your level of commitment but, at least a minimum of 8 to 16 months.
Q. Can I be a teacher in your school?
A. Absolutely, you can complete a full Teacher Training Course which is part of our reciprocity program. We are always looking for new, talented, passionate, caring individuals who want to share their love of dance. Check ‘our employment' for more information about it.

Competitions and Shows
Q. What is a competition?
A. With dance now taking the Entertainment world by storm, these days a dance competition can mean anything. But we take our students to recognized competitions from the best dance organizations around the world.
Q. Where do the competitions take place?
A. All over the world, but we have a good number of national competitions.
Q. Can I do shows when I am part of the school?
A. Yes we will make sure you get the best choreography for your performance.
Membership
Q. What is a Membership Card?
A. This card allows you to come to the school at anytime and take part in any of the courses the school offers during the whole year.
Q. How many classes can I take a week with the Membership Card?
A. As many classes as you like, and the best of it is that choose which classes you want to take.
Scholarship
Q. What is a Scholarship?
A. This is the only Scholarship is of its kind in the city of Toronto. Franco Dance is launching a scholarship program for teens this coming season. We will hold auditions and choose the best dancers to come and learn for a whole year for free! Students will learn a variety of dances and have opportunities to perform and compete! Franco Dance Studios wants to support the best young dancers in the city that want to become the best dancers in the world..
